What Is That Weird Circle Thingy?!

So I went to visit my friend the other day, and her little five year old boy saw a picture of my logo on my phone. He pointed to it and he said, "What's that weird circle thingy?!" LOL!!! I thought it was so cute, but of course, his mother (she's like my fan club president) thought it was rude and she tried to quiet him. You see,  she saw me struggling to figure out what I wanted my logo to be and she remembered seeing me go through sketches after sketch after sketch.  and the reason I took so long to create it is because I wanted it to be symbolic of positive attributes that I want to convey to my clients.

So when I found this first symbol, I loved it!! It has several ceiling fan-looking blades extending from it. They reminded me of all the different roles and responsibilities that I have to fulfill, often times with outward-stretched arms.

I love everything that involves creativity and being in digital marketing allows me to become fully immersed on a daily basis to create content for my clients and for my subscribers. So YES! This symbol was perfect for me. However felt like my logo needed something more. It represents positive attributes for sure. Yet, I needed to add something that portrays what I truly want to achieve both in my business and in my future.

I found another symbol that has the word "Greatness" beneath it and that is what I strive for and I thought it would be perfect with the other symbol that I found.

So I sketched a sample of the two symbols being welded together. And that was going to be the way I presented to the world.

But then I decided to upload the symbols into Pixlr. That software is amazing and it allowed me to add a few stripes and create the color patterns that I wanted and now I have a completed logo. Even though it doesn't have words around it, In my mind I know what it means to me and it is a reminder of the integrity and professionalism that I owe everyone I come in touch with. It also reminds me to never stop indulging in my love for creativity.
